Words and their imprecise definition, consequences on our beliefs.

Our senses mislead us

We humans have the ability to imagine and have got a relative power on material. Words describe the elements of our reality perceived through our senses that can mislead us. For example, many of the stars that we can see no longer exist ... We see only the light emitted by their radiation which reaches us. But as the time of travel of the light can take several years, What we see has already happened... Fortunately our analytical capacity and knowledge of science allow us to complete what our senses show us... But this capability of analysis  combined with our senses remains insufficient to characterize the infinite complexity of reality...

Imprecise description of reality

The words can be used to describe objects.  For example lets take an apple, the word apple describes a round green fruit. So a group of words describes a word and each word of the group itself is described by a group of words... An exact description of an apple in all its complexity with words is impossible. Why? because an apple is composed of molecules that are composed of atoms which are composed of Quarks... Until it reaches the limits of science can not observe what happens below a certain size.

The case of God

God could be defined as an all-powerful who created the earth and the universe. Also we assume that God is eternal. If not we fall on an infinite loop: who created God, who created the creator of God...?
We have already observed that each word describes only
an incomplete part of the infinite complexity of what he wants to represent ...
Regarding eternity, it is even more obvious... Since this concept refers to the notion of infinite. The infinite is a word that defines a concept that has no limit. And therefore it is impossible to imagine or represent the infinite. Since any representation of thought sets limits to what is imagined...
The concept of being generally refers to what we feel exist in one way or another in the perception, whether sensible or intelligible ...
But how represent or make intelligible the infinite..?

We can also define God as the cause of the existence of the universe ... It is a concept still sketchy... The causes can be many and complex ...
So the real question is not whether or not one believes in God, but even whether we can try to define God, which is equivalent to ask if we can make sense, logic, cause of our existence... These questions form the basis of the philosophy...
